Some beauty editor's at Glamour Magazine. I instinctively love the color and the look, but I have to wonder if what I'm really attracted to is how beautifully long and thin her hands and fingers look....like maybe what I really love about this color is the fantasy that by wearing it my hands, too, will be transformed into elegant, lithe works of art like you'd see in a painting. Instead of the short, chubby, sausage-like grabbers I actually have in reality....?

I've looked for a lovely nude shade of polish before but it does usually just make my hands look more reddish and stubby. Unless I'm holding them up in the air so all the blood rushes away from them, leaving a delightfully pretty creamy color. Not very practical.
That's my fear, too--that the shade would make me look either piggy-pink or sallow.
I have always thought that being a 'lipstick and nail polish name-comer-uper' would be an extremely cool gig.
Sometimes, I honestly think people are more taken with the name than the actual color. Seriously--I wonder how well OPI's 'waitress red'(or whatever) did vis a vis 'Siren rouge' or similar.
